Mick Kelly
Managing Director
Mick has 30 years' experience working in corporate communications at the BBC and Royal Mail. He was Director of Communications Services at Royal Mail for seven years, leading an in-house team of 100 creatives and consultants, providing internal and external communications. During his time as Director, CS won 30 national and international awards for its innovative work in the fields of internal publications, events, video and multi media.
Since leaving Royal Mail, Mick has worked as media adviser to the Modern Pentathlon team representing Great Britain at the Athens Olympics, and as communications consultant to the Board of the National Neighbourhood Watch Association.
Mick originally trained as a journalist and while still in his early 20s was one of the youngest local newspaper editors in the UK.
Jonathan Landsberg
Commercial and Marketing Director
Jonathan began his career in communications as a producer of live events working in the field of corporate and charity hospitality and fundraising. Working for a diverse range of clients he then developed his skills across an extensive variety of events, including multi-venue roadshows, large scale multi-media events, conferences and exhibitions. Utilising his previous eight-year background as both an actor and director in the theatre Jonathan also coaches individuals in public speaking and presentation skills.
In 1996 Jonathan joined Royal Mail’s Communications Services business where, in addition to events, he delivered video, multimedia and digital projects, employee communications and corporate publications. As Creative Director, from 1997, he led a team of 50 creatives producing diverse and varied below-the-line communications projects.
John Biggins
Creative Director
John has vast experience in print design, having graduated in Graphic Design prior to working as a freelance for many years. Under the umbrella of aerta web design, he has been creating elegant, user-friendly websites since 1999.
Amongst aerta's previous clients are The Delegates' Lounge at the United Nations in New York and The British Council France, as well as numerous well-known writers, artists, theatre companies and performers.
In 2006, John teamed up with Mick Kelly and Jonathan Landsberg to form KLB Communications, and provides the company with design, programming and copywriting expertise.
